About me.

As the former Head of Design & Design Management at Hymer KG (the world's largest motorhome and caravan manufacturer as a subsidiary of Thor Industries USA), I was responsible for all design developments in the interior and exterior areas of the Hymer and Eriba brands. With a team of internal and external designers and engineers, I successfully supported all types of design-relevant developments in series production.

Through the consistent implementation of the design concepts and successful innovation management, the Hymer brand has developed into the top brand in the motorhome industry. My knowledge and experience from many years of motorhome development is also a valuable basis for the development of new and innovative concepts in the technical consumer goods sector.

My very good technical knowledge, my comprehensive knowledge of materials and their processing, as well as my network of specialists in construction and design, provide valuable input.

Before working at Hymer, I worked in a well-known design office in Schwäbisch Gmünd. There I designed products and managed projects for a wide variety of industries and manufacturers.

Even during my studies, I was able to gain valuable experience as a freelancer and, last but not least, my foray into mechanical engineering has been a great help to me to this day.

Founding farwerk in summer 2022 gave me insight into another facet of design work. International product development combined with intercultural exchange, across borders and connecting peoples. Understanding and learning how product requirements are different in other cultures and yet are essentially the same.
